What is The Raw Milk Club?
The Raw Milk Club is a provisional Cambridge service measuring whether enough nearby households want a proposed weekly raw milk route. The current acquisition focus is postcode sector CB1 3. The website records postcode demand and proposed weekly quantities; it is not a statement that milk is currently available for delivery.
Is the Cambridge milk route live?
No. The route record is currently prelaunch. No supplier, start date or final operating arrangement is presented as confirmed, and payments remain disabled during prelaunch. A £0 founding reservation is demand evidence only. The public route page is the current source for route status and the household target.
Who writes and reviews this website?
The institutional author is The Raw Milk Club operations team. We use an institutional byline because no named medical, legal or food-safety professional is being presented as the author. Pages show a review date, and route figures are loaded from the platform record rather than being described as independently verified statistics.
How are safety and regulatory claims sourced?
Our publishing rules are deliberately narrow:
- food-safety and permitted-sale statements link to current Food Standards Agency material;
- operational statements come from the club's own route and readiness records;
- unconfirmed items are labelled proposed, provisional or prelaunch;
- the site does not make medical, immunity, wellness or disease claims about raw milk.
Read the sourced questions and answers or the FSA consumer guidance directly.
What must be verified before launch?
The supplier and direct-sale structure, bottling, packaging, required labelling, cold-chain process, batch traceability, recall procedure, insurance and delivery procedures must all be confirmed. The household demand target cannot override those checks. If the route becomes ready, this website will replace proposed language with confirmed dates, supplier information, final pricing and activation terms before requesting payment.
How can readers request a correction?
Use the published support address to question a route fact, flag an unclear source or request a correction. We will distinguish a website correction from a change in live platform data and update the review date when substantive guidance changes.
A public support address is being confirmed.
