What is the current Cambridge delivery status?
The current route record is prelaunch, with 0 of 60 founding households and 60 remaining to the demand target. Those figures describe expressed interest. They do not show that a producer, delivery day or operating approval is in place.
How would the proposed weekly delivery work?
A household would choose the amount it expects to use each week. The current proposed quantities are 4, 6, 10 litres. If the route is confirmed, one delivery fulfilment would be scheduled each week and the present model would bill every four weeks. Final pricing and bottle arrangements would be confirmed before activation.
When would payment be taken?
Not during prelaunch. A founding reservation costs £0. The service would first confirm the producer, route, delivery day, final prices, bottle instructions and activation terms. A household would then decide whether to activate; the reservation itself does not create a paid subscription.
Can a future subscription be skipped or paused?
The proposed account model includes controls to change the weekly amount, skip a delivery, and pause or resume without deleting the subscription history. These remain proposed service features until the route and its payment terms are confirmed.
What has to be confirmed before delivery starts?
Reaching the household target cannot switch delivery or payments on by itself. The readiness record covers:
- producer approval and the direct-sale structure;
- bottling, packaging and required labelling;
- cold-chain, traceability and recall procedures;
- insurance and the final delivery process.
