The short version of availability, payment, timing and safety—with no health claims or implied launch.

Is raw milk delivery live in Cambridge?

No. CB1 3 is a prelaunch route measuring demand. No producer, start date or delivery is confirmed.

Does joining the Founding 60 cost anything?

No. A founding reservation costs £0. It records a proposed weekly amount but is not a purchase, delivery promise or launch guarantee.

When would Cambridge deliveries start?

There is no confirmed date. The route is 60 households from its demand target, and the operating checks must be completed separately.

Who should not consume raw milk?

The FSA advises against it for people aged 65 or over, pregnant women, infants and small children, and people with a compromised immune system. Official guidance.

What must happen before the route launches?

The producer and direct-sale structure, bottling, packaging, labelling, cold-chain, traceability, recall procedure, insurance and delivery procedures must be confirmed. Reaching the household target cannot bypass those checks.

Care guide

Milk safety & storage.

Raw milk needs careful cold storage. The producer-approved instructions and use-by date on every bottle will always take precedence.

Important raw-milk information

This milk has not been heat-treated and may therefore contain organisms harmful to health.

The Food Standards Agency advises that raw or unpasteurised milk should not be consumed by people aged 65 or over, pregnant women, infants and small children, or people with a compromised immune system such as cancer patients.

Refrigerate straight away

Put bottles in the fridge as soon as you receive them, keep them below 5°C and keep them sealed.

Follow every use-by date

Follow the use-by date and storage instructions on every bottle. Do not consume milk after its use-by date, even if it looks or smells normal.

Freeze only when directed

Only freeze milk if the final producer-approved bottle instructions say it is suitable. Freeze it on the day of delivery, thaw it in the fridge and follow the bottle's post-defrost instructions.

Current prelaunch guidance. Final producer-approved bottle instructions will apply when deliveries begin.Read the FSA guidance
